It is my pleasure to introduce myself, Debbie Crabb and Special Moments Photography.
In 1994 I started out on a journey to do what I feel is one of the most important missions in life, capturing moments on film. Moments we cherish and want to pass on to future generations.
Being a Mom of 4 grown children I know how important saving those Special Moments means to you. Everyone tells you time goes by fast but you don’t really realize it until you see your baby go to kindergarten, graduate from high school and then walk down the aisle to get married all in the blink of an eye. I am also an avid scrap booker so all of my backdrops and props are selected with that “perfect” page in mind. Yes I said “props”, many photographers believe you cannot get a natural picture if you use props but I find it quite the opposite. Give a child a toy or real live bunny and he will give you his biggest natural smile.
After going through many a terrible photo session myself at mall photo studios I knew exactly how I wanted your experience to be here at Special Moments.
1. Have your children photographed when they are at their best. You choose from many available appointment times and there is no long wait. I always set aside 1 hour for each session. Giving your child time to get “warmed up” to the setting is very important. The more relaxed they are the more natural smiles they will give us.
2. Bring changes of clothes and your own props or choose from our huge selection of props.
3. Affordable pricing. Many professional photographers charge $150.00 an hour but not here at Special Moments. We believe It is very important to make our photo sessions affordable so you can come back more often.
4. We want you and your child to enjoy your visit with us. Having FUN capturing your special moments is our goal.
Special Moments is not at all made up of just 1 photographer. It takes a team to do what we do. Yes I am the only photographer but there is also my adoring family. Everyone plays apart making little ones smile, packing orders and setting up backgrounds. After a few visits your child will know everyone by name and assume he is coming for a “play date”.
